We believe people are our most important taonga!

Our staff manage the school and create the day to day environment where our children learn.

The School Board put in place policies that help the school meet the goals set by the community.

The P.T.F.A organise many of those activities that provide us with a sense of community as well as providing essential fundraising support.

We 'dig in' and support our community.

We are active!

We embrace the different cultures at our school.

We are very fortunate to have a very talented parent and teacher aide at our school who leads our Kapa Haka group. Thank you very much Whaea Keri-Michelle for all the hard work and dedication you put into our akonga (students). Whaea works with our Kapa Haka akonga at three different levels, slowly enhancing their skills and abilities. Our Year 1-2, classes begin with singing fun waiata and learning about pitch. Our Year 3-4 classes, start to learn more complicated waiata as a transition into our performance roopu (group). Once children are Year 5 and onwards, they choose to join the performance roopu. We look for multi opportunities for this roopu to get on stage. Whaea also comes into each classroom to explicitly teach te reo, tiknaga and matauranga Māori. She really is a blessing to our kura with all her knowledge.
